The Challenge

In modern manufacturing processes, conventional inspection methods for microplates often reached their limits with complex material structures. Precise quality control of difficult surfaces was barely reproducible manually and technologically difficult to implement.

Our Solution

3D Inspect combines intelligent confocal 3D line sensors with the Gocator system from LMI and GMP-compliant evaluation from OCTUM into a holistic Pharmabotix solution.

  • Confocal 3D Line Sensors: Industry-first sensors for high-resolution inspections of complex structures with submicrometer precision
  • Automatic Part Handling: Base module with integrated industrial robot for precise object movement
  • Gocator 5516 Sensor: Simultaneously generates 3D topography and 2D intensity data and can capture up to 8 stacked surfaces in one scan
  • Intuitive HMI: User-friendly interface that is fully compliant with GMP/CFR 21

  • Versatility: Applicable for medical seal testing, weld seam inspections, or layer thickness measurements on transparent films
  • High Resolution: X-resolution of 9.9 µm and Z-repeatability of 0.25 µm
